About this E-mail:
Velocity Trade Exchange, LLC is committed to doing our part to keep the Triad Economy growing strong by supporting our members, as well as the small business community in general.

This monthly series contains a schedule of Velocity Trade Exchange Member Events, special announcements and General Networking events in the Triad during the current month that our readers are likely to have an interest in knowing about.

Velocity Event was a Success!    Thank you to those of you who were able to attend our September 22nd event at Bistro Sofia Restaurant – you made it a great event! There were many creative marketing ideas flowing during the group exercise and we’ve already received reports of business deals and relationships that resulted from attending. Click Here to view pictures.

Set Your DVR!   This Sunday on MSNBC's "Your Business" at 7:30am, there will be a feature story on Barter. Click Here to view archived articles about how barter can be a tool for surviving tough economic times.

Say NO to Recession!   This isn’t in any way affiliated with Velocity Trade Exchange, but there are a number of small business owners who have voluntarily teamed up to build and market a website based on the premise that we can choose not to go into a recession.  They are heavily marketing the site and are also working on getting press coverage, as well as governmental attention.  This is not intended to be a profit-making endeavor, just a number of us who are sick of the media feeding economic difficulty and instead see the current conditions as an opportunity to stand out and rise above.  The site will be up for at least 6-months and it’s pretty inexpensive to list your business.  The cost is simply tied to recouping the cost of advertising the site.  Please at least take a look to support the efforts to keep the Triad Small Business Community thriving:  http://say-no-to-recession.com.
