VTE Photo Day was a hit! Thank you to Robert Watson of Robert Christopher Photography for dedicating a day with us for this project and for doing such a fabulous job. With participants’ permission, we will post samples of the finished images online once the final images are complete. Participants, if you haven't made your final selections of the images you want, please be sure to get that information to Robert as soon as possible. For those have already made your selections, the final images are in process and you should have them soon if you haven't received them already. SV2 Studios’ IMAX in a Basement film project, “Outside In” is on the docket for the 2008 Giant Screen Cinema Association Conference which will be held in Jersey City in early September. The conference brings together the who’s who of production companies, theaters, filmmakers, equipment people, journalists and more from the giant screen industry from around the world. SV2 Studios owner, Stephen van Vuuren, will be giving a short presentation of the film. Congratulations Stephen! Velocity Networking Event: Velocity Trade Exchange’s next event is on the calendar for Monday, September 22nd, 4:00-6:00pm at Bistro Sofia restaurant on Dolley Madison Rd. In addition to networking, we will also be partnering with Leapfrog Marketing PR Design to provide an interactive workshop on maximizing your marketing dollar, where participants will have the opportunity to learn new and creative marketing strategies while building relationships with VTE Members and other Triad business leaders at the same time.
