About this E-mail: Velocity Trade Exchange, LLC is committed to doing our part to keep the Triad Economy growing strong by supporting the small business community. We are also dedicated to helping Velocity members promote their businesses. In an effort to accomplish both endeavors, the following e-mail is the first of a monthly series where we will attempt to compile a schedule of VTE Member Events and General Networking events in the Triad for the current month that you may have an interest in attending. Here we've included events for the rest of March; we'll have an April events list out to you very soon!
While we can't list every group and every event in the area, please feel free to send us information about upcoming networking events in which you believe small business owners might have an interest in participating. For time and space reasons, we are unable to list networking groups that require regular attendance and / or industry exclusivity. We are also not able to include courses, workshops or entertainment related events for groups who are not members of Velocity - contact Steve with 336Events.com about posting those types of events. We reserve the right to make the final decision on which events we include.

We have much to share, but we'll be brief and focus on the events for this edition. A few items of note:
Email Woes: We've corrected the problem, but if you e-mailed me between March 7th and March 17th (particularly if you were responding to an e-mail I sent during that same time period) and I haven't responded, your e-mail probably didn't make it through to me. Please resend or call me with items that need my attention - be sure that the e-mail address you use has the extension @velocitytradeexchange.com with a total of four e's (two side-by-side between "trade" and "exchange." We are in the process of implementing a shorter domain name to save your fingers!
Velocity Networking Event: More details will soon follow, but mark your calendars now for April 17th, 2008 from 6:00 - 7:30 pm for a Post tax return filing stress reliever, Velocity Speed Networking Event at Gate City Lanes on Hornaday Rd.

Simple Solutions Professional Organizers -- Suitcase Seminar -- Apple Spice Junction -- Gather up all of the files, magazines and assorted papers lying around your home, office and car. Dump them into a suitcase and bring them to The Suitcase Seminar. Participants will leave with everything neatly organized and filed by the end of the day!
